Information we process
We process account information such as your name, email address, password hash, session records, account preferences, subscription status, and credit activity.
When you request an analysis, we process the image, video, or article text you submit, along with technical metadata needed to create the scan, report, heatmaps, and certificate.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, operate the analysis pipelines, provide reports, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, improve reliability, and communicate service-related notices.
Storage and retention
Uploads and generated artifacts are retained according to the active plan and operational requirements. Account owners can delete scans through the dashboard. Security, billing, credit-ledger, and audit records may be retained when needed to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or preserve accounting integrity.
Service providers
TruthScan may use infrastructure, storage, email, search, and model providers to deliver requested features. These providers receive only the information needed for their role and are configured through server-side credentials.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport in production, secure password hashing, short-lived access tokens, upload validation, rate limiting, and restricted storage access. No system is completely risk-free, so you should avoid uploading material you are not authorized to share.
Your choices
You may review and update profile information, delete scans, or request account assistance. Requests concerning access, correction, export, or deletion can be submitted through the contact form on the TruthScan website.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as the product and its service providers change. Material updates will be identified by a revised date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice.
